"Picture of my absolute hero Brett Tippie - check him out in the moment movie"
For those fellow mountain biker’s coming to grips with living in lock-down and starting to panic about the fact that you can’t go out and ride your bike this weekend. While it might not be as good as the real thing, fortunately a number of kind people have made some classic mountain bike movies available for us all to watch – free. Below a list of my favourite that I can definitely recommend – if you binge and exhaust this list then there are more options on Pinkbike and Cycling Magazine (Canada version). Now we are just waiting for #Gamble and #Vision to also come to the party, but I can honestly say it’s worth spending the few bucks to watch these two. And any self-respecting female rider should really watch #Vision.
“A moment of self indulgence - it can be understood”
The Moment
[2 hrs 20] Watch
In the backwoods of British Columbia, Canada, three small but dedicated crews of adventure seekers were quietly changing the course of a sport and carving their paths in history. And it was all happening unbeknown to each other, the cycling world, and ultimately, themselves.
A must watch into the fascinating history of free riding and what has made our sport what it is today – I certainly had no idea and relatively speaking this all happened just yesterday.
